But first, a muskrat, coming right at me-- I was still long enough that it quit worrying about me.
Apparently it was garter snake day-- I counted 60!

Wow! All great pictures.
My fondness for garter snakes (a long-standing one) was given a boost by the character No Feet in the Little Bear cartoons (based on the books of the same name).
