Two remarkably cheery looking weeping willow trees.



A friend remarked this week on the remarkable color in the woods, which are just starting to green up. I reminded her that trees bloom (sending out the pollen that makes us sneeze); the blossoms are far more varied in color than the leaves that emerge next. I tried to capture a bit of the range of yellow, green, red, and purple here.
