Fantastic photo op with this double crested cormorant today-- and he's got bling! The double crest isn't in evidence, but there's a band on each ankle. (I'm looking into reporting them, but generally only recovered bands are reportable-- i.e. dead or injured birds.)

This was one of my more conspicuous photo stops. I was quite safe-- but I pulled over on a relatively busy city street. That rock is in a water hazard on a golf course!
