One of my favorite bike rides. The water is dropping, but still 2 feet above flood stage.



Another favorite ride. Both of these roads have been closed for well over a month-- I miss my rides! But will likely be several more weeks, and then possibly closed for inspection and repair.

Gorgeous pictures, but I do wonder what it's going to look like when the water goes down...

I remember that you've posted pictures of spring flood in other years, but I don't think it's been quite this bad.

This is the highest level ever recorded on Lake Champlain, in somewhere around 200 years. The closed roads will have to be repaired and inspected before reopening. They've actually barricaded them with loads of gravel, knowing that they'll need the gravel for repairs anyway; in both pics we've walked beyond the barricades.
