I've gotten behind on my usual habit of daily editing and posting. Here are a few random shots from the last few days, starting with this lovely barn-- close by, but on a dirt road I rarely drive.





There was an organized bicycle ride in the area today (okay, there are rides most weekends); I was startled to see this man doing the 40-mile route on a unicycle!



Bohemian waxwing, for a young man who might like a bird with both a tiny mohawk AND a mask! And little patches of red and yellow on wing and tail tips.



Oscar sleeps this way a lot in the summer, to let his belly radiate heat (and random belly rubs are another perk).
