Spent some time out at Kingsland Bay State Park today-- on the south side of the bay, rather than the north where I usually walk.





Loved this bent-over tree which formed an arch-- through which I walked to get into a lovely secluded cove.



Roots of a fallen tree, bleached in the sun.



Where there are rocks, Vermonters pile them up and play with them. I love this arch! Terribly backlit though, and from the other angle it just doesn't look as good.



Nifty little natural still life on the top of a tree trunk.
