Something about sunset light makes this camera a little crazy-- the red tones blow way out. Click through to see the original side by side with my edit.
I see why you edited, and the edit is the technically superior photo - but both are very believable to me. I like this one just because it underscores how the light was - enough to affect the camera.
Gorgeous shot, either way, but also a very nice editing job - very true, and the slight cropping was highly effective.
Not that you probably need anyone to tell you that, just that I notice and admire. :)
