My brother scanned all my dad's slides to CD this year-- what a wonderful Christmas gift! I think this must be Christmas 1965, the moment when we kids were allowed to peek into the living room. That's me in front, my brother Alan in plaid, brother Jay and sister Sarah behind.





Here's what we saw! That's the organ I learned to play in the corner. I still have my stocking! I had completely forgotten the bird, we never got another after that one died.



My beloved greatgrandparents, Ida May and Will Cottmeyer. I was so lucky to have them in my life until I was 12! Seeing this brought tears.



This stuffed snake and I had a long and happy relationship.



My sixth birthday. Cute little thing, wasn't I?
