The continuing saga of the ankle

Last week my ankle once again started aching, and by Thursday was far worse than it has been since this all started; I could barely walk, and the pain was so bad I couldn’t concentrate. So, off to Dr. #3 Friday morning. He gave me drugs for the weekend, ordered me to *rest*, and come back Monday for an x-ray if I wasn’t lots better.

This morning he took one look at the x-ray and referred me to Dr. #4. There is at least one fracture, possibly two. I have no clue what they’ll recommend, but my appointment is tomorrow morning so the suspense won’t last long.
