Oct. 21st, 2002 01:18 pmThis NaNoWriMo stuff could get scary.
I slept very poorly last night (mostly due to illness- scratchy throat, congestion). While I tossed and turned, I had dream after dream about my novel. I spent a lot of time exploring Waubansee Bay, the setting, and met a bunch of my characters, at least one of whom I hadn’t previously known about. Weirdest of all was when my protagonist and one other character decided that NaNoWriMo sounded like fun, and announced that they were going to write novels too! I talked them out of it by telling them that it just wouldn’t fit with what I’m writing about them.
Now to write out the geography that I sorted out during the night, and the more sensible of the plot possibilities and character sketches.
