Nala update

The vet's assistant called around noon to check on Nala. When I said she was basically unchanged, the vet asked if I could bring her in right away, and I did. Xrays show a blockage and a possible small foreign object (not a string or rubber band, thank goodness). Because Nala is in no distress, they kept her but only for observation at this point. They did a barium scan which they say will 1) show how bad the blockage is; 2) maybe help figure out what the object is and 3) might even help her pass the object. If she does become distressed it'll mean surgery.

Continued good thoughts, please, focused on her maybe dealing with this all by herself without pain!
