Keep those good thoughts coming

I just authorized surgery for Nala.

She's no worse but no better. Fluids and such kept her comfy, and the blockage isn't total but isn't moving. They were willing to keep watching for one more day but this could go sour very quickly; and we're close to the weekend when she'd be getting emergency treatment rather than regular.

Poor kitty. :(

Update- mostly good

Nala is out of surgery. It's still not clear what caused the blockage-- not an indigestible object, but possible something edible but incredibly irritating. Anyway, they're keeping her until she starts eating and hopefully pooping, probably tomorrow.
