Making progress
May. 8th, 2022 05:20 pmFor anyone who's worried, I'm doing okay... making progress towards going home, probably Tuesday. If you want to send good thoughts etc., focus on good blood work results tomorrow morning.
I'll be getting a PICC line, and on IV antibiotics for 6 weeks-- need to be 100% sure this bug is gone. I'm also only allowed to walk with a walker, 25% weight on the foot; that at least should improve quickly.
I am still crazy glad of the "Available Anytime" menu, and having fun playing with it. For example, can get a hot or cold sandwich off the lunch or dinner menu, and add bacon from the breakfast section.
Weekends in the hospital are notoriously Not Good, and my Saturday was even worse than that.. but then I got one of the wonder nurses, and she was so concerned about my Saturday stories that she made sure I had another Wonder Nurse today.
