Kidlet's been interested in graphic quilting, where pieces are sewn together like a jigsaw puzzle to make pictures-- more complicated than it sounds, when you start trying to sew the bits together! After some early frustrations, I recognized the relationship to crazy quilting, which I do understand, so taught the basics of that to the kid. A week of playing with that, and she started designing and sewing. This is my attempt at her first design, she's already moved on to more complicated designs.
