My ospreys have come back! Here's one with lunch.





I've observed a bunch of osprey nests in the area for several years. A bit more than a year ago, my favorite was destroyed-- the entire section of tree holding the nest fell. Last summer, a lone osprey hung around the area, but didn't nest. Today, I saw two, and they're building! Best guess is that one of the 6 chicks I've seen raised there found a mate and came back.





As I biked away, I saw another big black and white bird in the sky- bald eagle!



Also played with the self timer for a while.

I love osperys. We see them up at Echo sometimes.
