Also spent some time at Dead Creek. The turtle log was mostly under water after a heavy rain but there was still some space for sunbathing.

Felicity is so utterly and completely adorable.

I have a couple of similarly focused pictures; they seem to happen when I'm following the quickly-moving person and/or animal with my camera. For example:

thanks! Felicity is actually a miniature horse, not a pony. Definition of 'horse' and 'pony' varies wildly; biologically, it's that horses have one more vertebra than true ponies. (For horse show standards, it's all a matter of size, with miniature horses being smaller even than Shetland ponies.)
