Our favorite museum, the Shelburne Museum, opened yesterday. It's a big place, with about 20 buildings. One of the traveling exhibits this year is on Robots and Steampunk; and though it's not open yet, the theme garden outside the gallery is partly complete. Meet Mama Robot!

Elsewhere on the grounds we have new elephant sculptures made from scrap.
There are also hundreds of lilac bushes on the grounds; here's a butterfly appreciating one.
