I wonder what its appeal is?
Perhaps it's just a perch, to them
But we, knowing it as an abandoned beaver lodge, think there must be more. Are the cormorants archaeologists? Or nostalgic? Or do beavers leave behind something delectable to cormorants? Do fishes nestle in the shelter of the abandoned chambers?
