Walked out at the old reservoir today; this is part of what's left of the control building on the dam.
The kid brought her camera too.
Stone cairn-- one of several left from Solstice celebrations.
A little riot of late summer color.
Monarch butterfly. Sadly they were very scarce this year.

Ooh, what nifty colors!
The stone cairn is very neat. From this angle it doesn't look like it should be able to stand on its own. (The top three stones, I mean.)
