I had a lovely close encounter with a Snowy Egret today.





Photographing a white bird on a sunny day isn't easy.



Here's a somewhat bedraggled Eastern Bluebird.



I like the lines and textures in this corner of a canal lock.

Wow, that first one is beautiful! How close were you? (I know with the right lens you could have been some distance, but you did say "close" so I wondered.)
