Lazy Saturday

kayreEarlier this week my daughter wrote a poem about hummingbirds, and mentioned the wistful feelings when they leave for the winter. I think her timing was perfect; I haven’t seen any for 2 days now. I’ll wait a few more days, but it may be time to switch to the regular birdfeeder for the winter.
I’ve just finished a sports binge-- spent the afternoon alternating between the US Open and the Notre Dame/Purdue game. Williams vs. Williams tonight, and Sampras vs. Agassi tomorrow, what fun! And it’s pro football season too... whee!!!!
*** Spellcheck insists that Sampras vs. Agassi should be Simpers vs. Agues!
