Waking up without a head full of Darvocet-fog.. and without much pain, either.
Email from a friend who wanted to share the beautiful sunrise he saw with me.
Being visited at the organ by the church’s preschool 3 year olds class.
Having a good solid practice session-- music for the coming Sunday well under way, and tentative selections for the week after that, in case I still can’t use the left foot.
Taking myself out for lunch.
The young woman who took the time to walk all the way around the restaurant to point out the dripping water and sagging ceiling panels between our tables, because she was afraid I might be startled and further injure my foot if the panels fell unexpectedly.
Anticipating piano lessons with my three charming and talented students this afternoon.
Seeing my favorite hummingbird, “Perchy”, again-- which means the hummingbird feeder stays up for at least 3 more days. And there she is again, as I type!
A lap-snuggle from my favorite blue-eyed red-haired (purring) boy.
