1. What is your favorite scary movie? Not applicable; I hate scary movies.
2. What is your favorite Halloween treat?Popcorn balls.
3. Do you dress up for Halloween? If so, describe your best Halloween costume. I wear fur cat ears all day on Halloween (unless it’s Sunday, they don’t go with my choir robe). I have a black pair and a leopard-spotted pair.
4. Do you enjoy going to haunted houses or other spooky events? Not really, though in good company they can be fun.
5. Will you dress up for Halloween this year? See #3. I think I’m in the mood for the leopard spots this year.
From weeklywrapup...
1. What is your earliest Halloween memory? What costume did you wear? Why did you pick it? As the youngest of four kids, I had my choice of a handful of hand-me-down store-bought costumes. I was a tiger for several years, a bride for a few more, and then started creating my own costumes.
2. Did you go trick or treating as a child? If so, did you travel alone or in a pack? What was the best part about trick or treating as a child? Went with my older brother until I was 12 or so; then went with my best friend and her younger sisters. A little old lady around the corner made popcorn balls every year; we’d stop at her house 3 or 4 times during the evening.
3. When did you stop trick or treating? Why? When I was 14 I started trick-or-treating for Unicef-- but I still carried a bag for the folks who insisted on giving me candy as well. Didn’t stop going out until I was in college.
4. Do you like Halloween parties? Why or why not? If you do like Halloween parties, what aspect do you like the most? Not much; I dislike parties with organized games and activities, and Halloween parties have more of those than most.
5. As an adult, do you still have fun on/for Halloween? If so, how? I do enjoy my cat ears, and handing out candy is fun; I also absolutely love carving pumpkins.
