kayreStill on track with my novel... rather fun now that I can see things moving towards the end. I’m pacing it pretty closely to end very close to the 50,000 mark. It’ll need a major rewrite sometime in the future, but I think it’s a good story, worth telling. And letting Channa shoot the hell out of George (in effigy, more or less, with arrows) was very very satisfying. I have known a few too many Georges in my life.
In other news, piano lessons went well, though the youngest kiddie was tired and sulky. My own kidlet is getting behind on homework this week; I foresee a crisis tomorrow, though she might surprise me and get her act together during school. Thanksgiving plans with hubby’s family are in place, but my family is dithering as usual. Maybe we’ll just get together with the one brother and niece who have responded to email and do pizza and Harry Potter or something. Just found out there’s a Penzey’s Spices store in Columbus; will be very unhappy if I can’t squeeze in a visit while we travel, though very little else would drag me out shopping on the day after Thanksgiving.
