Scheduled x-rays of Whisper’s stifles and hocks for Friday.... so naturally she is suddenly walking normally, trotting normally, cantering on the lunge line, and barely tender in the stifles. (She may not even be tender-- it’s hard to tell the difference between an ‘ow, that hurts’ kick and a ‘I am so damn sick of people poking me’ kick.) Going ahead with the x-rays anyway... I really won’t rest easy until she’s working under saddle and has gotten through a couple of farrier visits without trouble.
