I always forget some of the joys of warm weather.. like hearing backyard noises through an open window. As near as I can sort out, I just listened to one owl killing a rabbit, and then defending his kill from another owl. Not sure which owl won, but the rabbit definitely lost. (Actually, the birds are still fighting.)
