I got my favorite kind of compliment today. It's always special to me when a piece of music somehow gets through to someone despite being 'not their type of music.' Usually it's someone who doesn't like classical music but gets caught up in a piece by Bach or Pachelbel. Today it was the opposite-- a true classical music snob who was entranced by a very modern setting of Kum Ba Yah by Dennis Johnson.
