How cold is it? (Ice on Lake Michigan. I've never seen so much ice-- there's clear water only on the horizon.)



Really cold. (The Benton Harbor lighthouses)



Seriously cold. (The St. Joseph lighthouse)



Somebody likes snow! (I almost put my hand on this before I truly saw it.)



The scalloped pattern of the snow puzzled me for a while....



... but there's a squirrel track leading to the near right leg.. up the leg, hop across the top, down the far left leg and off into the brush!
