Dried thistle pods
A lucky shot! Tail at the top, if you have trouble making sense of it. (The cable is in the foreground; he dropped from the branches at the top. I'm not sure what kind of hawk he is, except BIG.)
Two yearling does walked through the cemetery with me. (No budding antlers, and they're still outgrowing their fawn markings.)
