May. 20th, 2004 08:13 pmYesterday was a really big day-- staff meeting, lessons, tense church meeting, choir, long walk, no nap. I was utterly exhausted when I went to bed, so much so that I felt chilled, and turned my electric blanket up to Volcano. Hours later I woke up dripping sweat, and turned it down about halfway. Sometime later, I woke up still dripping sweat, and turned it down some more. Sometime later.. same thing again.
I'm not sure how many times that repeated before I woke up dripping sweat-- and realized that I had only dreamed I'd been turning the control down!
Woke up with a migraine this morning (weather related, though braising myself half the night may have contributed). Haven't felt good all day, but the caffeine from three doses of Excedrin has made me amazingly productive. I practiced; showed my dream floorplan for the sanctuary to three staff members; grocery shopped; cooked lunch (stir fry); 3 loads of laundry; cleaned the kitchen and my studio; paid bills; mowed the front yard; cooked dinner (barbecue chicken, mashed potatoes, corn on the cob); repaired two nightgowns; decorated two shirts with brads.
Now I'm going to curl up with an icepack and watch the Pistons win-- I deserve a break!
