I deliberately shot the underside of its wings, because they were more colorful than the top.



Took this as soon as I saw him posed so nicely. One more step forward, and away he went.



I am so proud of this shot! Just some native grass in a restored prairie-- but isn't it gorgeous?



Aren't they adorable?



I really need a monopod so I can hold steadier in low light... figured this shelf fungus was pretty enough to share despite being slightly fuzzy.
