kayreDriving to an appointment this afternoon, we saw a crew replacing a transformer (?) on a power poll. They were still there when we came home, but about half an hour later the electricity came back on (around 4:00).
I only had time to reset the phone and clocks before I left for piano lessons, but now I'm home, playing around with preferences on my NEW COMPUTER! Got most of my stuff transferred-- not all, as it wasn't a straightforward transfer. Should be able to pull the rest off the kid's computer somehow.
It's really nice to have my own computer again-- hopefully this one will keep working for a year or two!
