kayreOur predicted 1 to 2 inches of snow is about 5 inches deep so far. It's very wet, slick snow, and I fell when I stopped for the mail. Landed on right knee and both hands, with my right foot twisted. I've gone from "Oh no, ow!" to "maybe I'm okay" to "no I'm not." Took an Aleve, strapped an icepack on the knee, we'll see what develops. I guess no mallwalking today, though.
On the good side, I found Benedictine cheese spread today. It's a cucumber and cream cheese mixture, generally tinted a slightly weird pastel green, and the basis of one of my favorite sandwiches (Benedictine spread, bacon, tomato and alfalfa sprouts on wheat toast). I shouldn't eat dairy but for this I'll make an exception.
