Leftover pics

I thought some of you might enjoy this pic of one of the two drawbridges in downtown St. Joseph. For a small boat like this, the bridge raises just high enough to let the mast through, and then sags back down within seconds.



This young raccoon was doing its best "I'm just a lump on a tree" act.



I didn't post this pic of the baby owl because... well, honestly, it's a bit of a mistake. The focus on the leaves is so much sharper than on the owl.. but the more I look at it, the more I like it.
