I was reminded yesterday that I don't have to go to a park to find beauty.



These gorgeous crabapple blossoms are right in my front yard.

 

Lilacs, just around the corner (I have other varieties that aren't in bloom quite yet).

 

The blend of textures here caught my eye-- vine and sycamore trunk.

 

This is one time when I used the camera view rather than the eyepiece to take a pic--- only my hands were close to this guy, not my face! I'm afraid I can't give him any more technical name than "bumblebee."
