As the kidlet and I pulled into the park, we saw this gorgeous redheaded woodpecker. (I actually took the pic out the car window.)
Later, walking, we were amazed to see two of them on the same pole. (Redheadeds aren't too common around here.)
These guys are pretty common in the park. It's always fun when someone drives up to drop their trash into a can around dark, and a raccoon pops out!
