mooseloon spotted this cute little thing on one of the carousel horses displayed downtown.



My family encountered this praying mantis (almost 4 inches long!) at a gas station, and moved it to a nearby field after the photo op.



This 'butterfly bush' was living up to its name. It was covered in monarchs.....



... and in similarly colored false monarchs.
