I have a hand!

It doesn't work very well, but no more pin or splint. Range of motion is still very impaired in the pinkie and ring finger, but I'm typing with all 10 right now (bit of a hesitation before I use the pinkie each time). The doctor is concerned I won't push myself hard enough-- you all know better. To be specific, I am to stretch LOTS, apply heat, massage out the swelling, but not pick up anything heavy. I'm allowed to try to play when I'm ready, but not pound hard at first.
Taking the pin out was, as I had been told, quite painful but quick. I asked for the pin and the doctor immediately handed it to me. Not as long as I thought, really.
They left me alone with the xrays on screen, hence the new userpic. If it squicks anyone, left me know and I won't use it again.
