The kidlet and I have seen beaver in our park twice. The first time I had my cheap little pocket camera, and got pics with brown blurs. The second time I had the new camera, but didn't get a pic taken before the critter slid into the water. I ended up with pics up just the head, with no scale to prove it wasn't a muskrat. Tonight.... not great pics, but unquestionably beaver. I feel like it's okay to move now. (And we got to hear him slap his tail! It's amazingly loud!)
