My head exploded about 4 a.m. this morning. Thanks to my new habit of keeping an Excedrin Fast Melt next to the bed, I actually took meds rather than just hiding under my pillow. I even staggered out to get a cold pack. (Why doesn't anyone make a refrigerator with a 'migraine' button so you can disable the inside light, turn on maybe a flashlight sized bulb instead? Hmmmmmm?) Sadly, neither meds nor cold pack did much good. Took another dose around 8 and staggered through my morning practice and errands. Lunch and a different OTC did no good, and a third Excedrin dose in one day is asking for trouble, so I took a codeine and became a zombie for a couple of hours-- thankfully, my cats are willing to cuddle zombies.
Woke up feeling fuzzy but pain-free, made dinner, did more work around the house. Might actually be ready to list soon. Eeeee!
(Btw, not one of the new migraine drugs works for me, for various reasons. My doctor and I go through the list every 6 months or so. So it's Excedrin or nothing. Thankfully, Excedrin usually works.)
