My first Vermont nature pics post

I'm a touch superstitious about my nature sightings, in that I always have a sense of blessing with a "good" sighting. So the fact that, on our very first walk in Vermont, kidlet and I walked 100 yards to Lake Champlain, turned to our right and saw a snowy egret.. 'nuff said.



Haven't yet figured out what this is. Very odd, the way it swam almost submerged.



These weird looking flowers are called "Indian's Pipes."
