kayreIt's getting close... packers start Monday. At this point I'm expecting to hit the road a week from Saturday. I'm starting to throw key stuff into a suitcase (I'll pretty much have to pack my car Sunday evening to keep stuff from ending up on the truck). I'm actually feeling a touch less stressed today, having faced down some of the biggest dragons in the last few days. It's still pretty overwhelming.

Isn't it a bit odd that on the official USPS change of address form, they don't want zip +4? Don't even leave space for it?

It's easy to make some people happy. The guys at the oil change place were SO excited about giving my little car its first oil change ever!

I was going to take the boycats for a practice drive after lunch, so of course one of them is nowhere to be found. The other is in plain sight, and innocently smug.

There was an egret in the park last night-- first I've ever seen in St. Joseph. Unfortunately it flew the moment I saw it, and I couldn't get the camera in action fast enough.
