kayreTook my first local walk today-- out the back door and turn right. 8/10 of a mile west, 220 feet up!
I occasionally post to a community called "rural ruins"-- now I live with one. The corner of our house is just barely out of the picture on the right.
This isn't a great pic, but I suspect this spot will be glorious as the colors change, and great birdwatching in the spring.
I was startled to see water lilies blooming in a tiny pond hidden in the brush.
