Fairy ring? I love the way the milkweed seeds clung together like a halo.



More milkweed-- I just love the colors here.



Found this old barn on Otter Creek Road near Vergennes.



What can I say? It's autumn in Vermont.



Someone has helpfully marked the trailhead at the edge of a meadow. (Sadly, I think that's a horse skull.)
