This cute little piece sits alongside my landlord's barn. It looks so neglected, I'm wondering if he even knows it's there-- if it might be left behind by the previous owners.



Tiny caterpillar. Need to look up why there are caterpillars at this time of year-- do they coccoon all winter?



Apple tree with picking ladder. Looks like the orchard owners are picking the last apples and pruning at the same time.



What all the smart horses and ponies are wearing this season. Deer hunting season, that is.



It's from a distance, it's backlit and there's a branch in the way-- but it's my first pileated woodpecker pic in Vermont, and only the fourth I've ever seen!
