kayreIt's a good thing I'm not limiting myself to only one pic per day; I'd go nuts on days like this.

Pic of the day-- a perky little goldfinch. Today is the first time they've come up to my porch feeders; usually they stay at the thistle feeder in a tree further away.
During the morning I had birds fighting over the feeder. Normally they'll mostly come up in flocks of one species, but at one point today I had three different species there at once.
Not a great pic, but only the second time I've seen a Carolina wren at the feeders, very fleetingly.
Remember "raindrops on rose leaves" last week? Today they're coated with ice.
First runner up for the day-- ice on burdock seeds.
