Tuesday I drove all day, so these are token pics from a rest area. The spikes are supposed to prevent nesting; doesn't seem to be working!

Today I pulled over in Rock City Falls, NY, to take pics of what I think must be an old hydroelectric power plant. I may have posted pics from here back in September; the water was a lot higher this time.

This cool looking plant is sprouting out of a piece of cement jutting out over the water.

Here's the dam, a bit upriver from the buildings, which is why I don't think it was a mill.

Arrived at the house in Vergennes, and idly snapped off a few pics of a little bird near the feeders. It turned out to be a white-throated sparrow, which I have only seen once before.
