Hubby ran errands this morning, and came back with a rose for me.

Later in the day I started to feel not too well. I had told a friend last night about the kidlet's habit of sending me handmade postcards, so I took some of them out on the deck and photographed them.

While I was on the deck taking pics, I saw movement, and a splash, and more movement. Went to investigate, and saw this belted kingfisher in the trees.
