Project 365
Jun. 25th, 2007 09:59 pmWe're definitely in New England now!

Tonight the hubby and I walked up to the village square for the Strawberry Festival. Everybody and their dog was there.

The highlight of the evening was, of course, strawberries, with pound cake and ice cream. If that didn't suit, there was also "Hawaiian" shaved ice. That's it.

Well, there was also a water fountain, which is obviously very fun.

For entertainment, the Vergennes Municipal Band. They were pretty good, really. Whoever chose the location for the gazebo was a genius; the bulk of the Episcopal Church and manse just across the street created much better acoustics than usual in an outdoor venue.
