This lovely native wild lily is growing at the back of the yard, by Otter Creek. It's one of two types-- a Turk's Head lily, or a Canada lily. Canada lilies are usually more yellow but there is a red variety. If it's a Turk's Head, the petals will curl more as they open fully; this was one of only two open blossoms so far. So I'll know which in a few days.
